Kenraali: Hitlerin salamurha peruttiin kahdesti - tässä syy

Neuvostodiktaattori Josif Stalin perui kahdesti suunnitelmat salamurhata Adolf Hitler toisen maailmansodan aikana, väittää venäläinen kenraali. Stalin pelkäsi, että Hitlerin murha johtaisi natsi-Saksan ja länsivaltojen väliseen rauhaan.

Asiasta kertoi historiatieteellisessä konferenssissa Moskovassa puhunut kenraali Anatoli Kulikov.

Uutistoimisto Ria Novostin lainaaman Kulikovin mukaan vuonna 1943 laadittiin suunnitelma tappaa Hitler bunkkeriinsa. Stalin kuitenkin perui sen, koska pelkäsi Hitlerin seuraajien solmivan rauhan Britannian ja Yhdysvaltojen kanssa.

Vuonna 1944 Neuvostoliitossa juonittiin jälleen Hitlerin murhaa, ja salamurhaajan onnistui luoda luottamukselliset suhteet natsijohtoon. Stalin kuitenkin perui suunnitelman toistamiseen.

Kulikov toimi Venäjän sisäministerinä vuosina 1995–1998. Sotilasjohtajien kerho, jota Kulikov johtaa, aikoo julkaista toista maailmansotaa käsittelevän kirjan, jossa murhasuunnitelmista kerrotaan yksityiskohtaisesti.
